Denji nodded slowly as he tried to process what she was saying. "You mean the science behind the ghoulification?"

Denji took a step toward the mirror.
The ghoul stepped with him.
Three more steps brought him up to the sink. He grabbed its edges, allowed his head to drop down, and let out a hoarse laugh that was nearly a sob. His head was an aching mess, but one clear thought managed to break through the haze. Aki was going to kill him.
