Summary
The Stranger hesitates, and does something Hob would not have believed possible. He stammers. “I- I do not remember. I came to and was being pursued.”
Hob notices the older man approaching, but is shocked as his voice rings out, addressing them both, “My dear boy, I am so glad we have found you.” He observes the situation warily; the only reaction from his friend is subtle, the smallest recoil.
“Who exactly are you?” Hob asks the man.
“Why, I’m Paul McGuire, and I can’t thank you enough,” the man looks at Hob’s ID badge, “Dr. Gadling, for finding my nephew.”
Hob’s eyes narrow, as he flatly asks, “Your nephew?”

Hob’s life is forever changed when his Stranger literally stumbles back into his life, amnestic and hunted, and he must use the skills gathered over an immortal life to evade their pursuers. They soon realize that bits of memory are coming back to Hob’s Stranger, through the power of literature. They are slower, however, to recognize that the most important story to explore may be their own.

Summary
In 1989, a stood-up Hob has a chance encounter with a young goth named Tom who bears an uncanny resemblance to his missing Stranger and takes him home to comfort his broken heart.
What should’ve been a one-night stand begins to blossom into a tentative relationship despite Tom’s hunger for freedom and Hob’s efforts not to get attached. But while fate inadvertently pulls them towards each other, chaos and darkness follow Tom like a shadow. Soon, he and his peers are targeted by the Corinthian, a serial killer Hob suspects to be a fellow immortal and the more details about Tom come to the surface, the more mysteries arise.
Who is the rich, eccentric man that raised Tom and from under whose control he escaped to London? Is Tom’s life a lie or does he maybe not remember things the way they really are?
The truth can only be found in the past.

Summary
We know Dream’s tools and the Dreaming are all apart of Dream. We also know they are highly addictive to humans. So, it stands to reason that people also become addicted and obsessed with Dream himself.
Or
Dream and Hob are in establish relationship. Dream takes systematic periods away from him when he feels that obsession and addiction is starting to take hold. He wants this relationship to work for once after all. It helps that Hob develops a stronger will and resistance to it as time goes on. Only problem is Dream did not account for a certain tenant of Hob’s inn who's getting affected by the few moments they interacted with their landlord’s lover.

There are few living things in this world that Aerith would consider useless.
Most living things have a purpose, after all, and it’d feel far too judgemental for her to disregard parts of this world just because she couldn’t “get them”, or simply because the creature was a bit hard to understand.
However, Aerith wryly noted, there are two living things she’d consider useless.Firstly, ticks. Disgusting little bugs, they are, and she couldn’t fathom how the world would be worse off without them. They hold no purpose beyond spreading sickness, biting and infesting every animal it gets in contact with, and she couldn’t even justify their existence by claiming they served an important purpose as prey to another animal or beast, since there were truly no animals who’d ever choose to consume the wretched things.
The second living thing Aerith would consider useless was Zack Fair, resident idiot.
...Or, the unfortunate time Zack Fair fell in love with the new exchange student, if you were to ask Aerith and her beloved kitchen chairs.

Hitoshi’s quiet, thinking. “I’m still pissed.” he starts slowly, “But, if you think they won’t be assholes about our quirks maybe you could introduce me.”
