Summary
Geonosian drones have been plucking clone troopers from the ground and flying them into the sky. Most assume that the troopers were dropped, and their bodies lost in the seemingly endless sands. Only the abducted clones themselves are aware of their survival, and discover the dark truth of why their lives were spared. With the fate of millions resting on their shoulders, will they be strong enough to make it back to the republic in time to save countless lives?

“I don’t know,” Droidbait considered. “It wasn’t really a feeling. It was like I knew that there was a danger there that wasn’t there before. I knew the same way I know you’re sitting in front of me right now.”
“Cutup, does that sound like what you felt?” Hevy asked.
Cutup was already shaking his head. “It wasn’t like danger exactly. More like- I don’t know. I just had a feeling, I don’t know how to describe it.”
“A feeling from the object?” Fives prompted.
“No,” Cutup said. “Like- static. Like the air on Kamino before a big storm. Or a hallway junction where you have to pick a direction, and you can tell that one direction is worse than the other.”
Everyone absorbed that for a moment. “Hallway junctions have better or worse directions?” Echo asked.
Hevy snorted. “Only if there’s a long-neck in one direction.”
Or: Domino Squad is Force-Sensitive. All five of them.
This changes a lot of things about the Clone Wars.
