It's been 6 years since the GIW found him. They saved him from the building collapse and away from the dangers of the world. They raised him and taught him everything he needed to know to survive. They helped him become powerful.
At least that's what they said.
After being stuck with the GIW for 3 years. They decided to bring Danny into their work. They needed a new test subject. Why not make Danny one of theirs? He already knew how to fight. So they asked the boy to see why their ghost portal wouldn't work. He went inside and died.
Well, halfway died.
The GIW had succeeded. They had a new weapon.
