Will makes some correct assumptions about what happened to Steve and tries to puzzle out whether or not it was bad. He seeks advice before eventually telling Steve what he learned. Steve... doesn't take it well.
This is a story of healing from child sexual abuse and grooming, but it's also a love story. It's a story about Steve learning to lean on others for support and offer support without hurting himself.

Steve barely heard his own scream as the doctor pulled. The room lurched sideways as his vision rocked, his head fell against his chest as he closed his eyes to everything. The pain in his hand was excruciating, his heart was pounding. He barely heard a thing over the pounding in his ears but he could definitely feel the scream tearing at his throat.
