Summary
Catlin Scott should have died, everyone knew it, but no one said anything. The girl came out of the car without a single scratch on her. It should have been impossible. The car was nothing more than a cluster of metal on the road. Every detective who came to the scene stared at her in shock, unable to believe the fact that not only was she alive, but she had managed to stay conscious the whole time. Doctors ran test after test trying to figure out what had happened in that car but nothing came up. In their eyes, she was a miracle of God himself. But in the back of Catlin's mind, all she could think about was the comment her mother used to make about the devil horns.
