Summary
I was never meant to be trapped. The sea is vast, eternal, ever-changing—so was I, I was supposed to be free. But then that demon took my body, my killer, my torturer. A demon that should never have existed, a cruel existence Fate should never have allowed.
I watched from the mirror as she tricked them, as she killed my brother, as she stole the life that once was mine. She did not know the weight of my love, how I ached to protect them, my family, how the tides themselves wept for what they would endure.
But even a goddess cannot fight Cruel Fate. I tried. Oh, I tried. But the sea cannot hold back the storm forever.
And in the end, I lost them to that monster.
