“Everything is moving too fast around me, and…” It’s now or never, I just have to say it. ”I’m scared of what might happen!”
“What could happen that could possibly be so bad?” He shouted, despite our close proximity. Time stood still after his voice rang through the silence. My ears were ringing. My breathing was heavy. My heart was pounding.
