“Suo?”
Nirei turns. Suo is taller than the both of them; most of the time, his silhouette dwarfs over Nirei’s completely. Now, the downward slope of his shoulders only seems heavy. This far from them, swaddled by the water, Suo is still tall, but somehow small simultaneously, and Nirei does not know what to expect when Suo shakes unfallen snow off his shoulders again,
"I was born in a very cold place, you know. I liked the cold, though. I liked the snow. Now that I think about it, I liked the cold mostly because I liked the snow, really, even though if I bundled up properly, I did not feel it at all.”
Suo does not turn back. Nirei’s heart falls off his chest, his stomach, five feet under and comes back up to do the same plunge again, but he and Sakura stay rooted where they stand. They are at the edge of the water — the tide is rising, maybe? — and their feet sink slowly down the wet sand.
“It’s not as cold here. Not really.”
Snow choose to fall at that moment.

Suo may only be fifteen, but he was mature enough to care for himself.
He had everything he needed here. Food, money, a roof over his head….It was livable. And it could certainly be worse, he thought as his mind wandered to Sakura’s run-down apartment.
Really, this was fine.
__Suo feels a bit lonely and just wants to hang out with his friends. Thankfully, he ends up running into a certain bi-colored captain of his and realizes that he may not be the only one who feels this way.

He doesn't understand why that look is being associated with him and Shin, until he spares a glance at him, and notices that his heart's speedy pulse is not caused by hatred for the man, but something else entirely.

Summary
It started entirely as stress relief.
It seemed like an obvious choice. They were two pent up adult men who could admit the other was attractive. Sex was a good stress relief, although neither were expecting all that much. A quick fuck to refocus themselves, and they'd never speak of it again.
Multiple sessions of Sou getting fucked harder and better than he had ever been before out proved that assumption very, very wrong.

Summary
In another world, Keiji might not have cared at all about Sou's problem. Maybe he didn't truly care in this world either; perhaps he was just bored and needed something to focus his thoughts on. Why should he care about a broken mirror and bloodied pieces of glass? He didn't care. Yet, he couldn't understand why he felt such a strong desire to uncover what was wrong. Maybe there was nothing wrong, but if that were the case, why didn't the feeling of despair that filled him just go away? Why did he feel sympathy when he saw Sou's tearful and terrified face? He didn't understand it, and with every piece of glass he extracted from Sou's hand, he understood it even less.
