[MLM: Ishigami Senku (and slight various) x Male!Reader]

╰┈➤ You’ve had always put a huge amount of effort and dedication into everything you’ve done, only to seek validation from your family and everyone else. No matter how many skills you picked up or how much effort you put in, your family brushed it all aside as if it meant nothing. Most of your days were spent buried in books, papers, and projects—living quietly, convincing yourself that hard work alone would fill the emptiness.

But, it all changed the moment you met a certain smug lab rat. Ishigami Senku didn’t just notice your efforts—he made them matter. For the first time, your talents weren’t wasted, and your life finally began to move forward.

“You’ve been cleaning up everyone else’s messes your whole life. Let me clean up yours for once.”

    Summary

Before the world ended, they built a rover together.

Tomi was the kind of girl who said almost nothing and noticed everything. Senku was all logic and lollipops and talking too loud in classrooms that weren’t built to hold him. They weren’t friends, exactly. But they worked. Side by side. Wire by wire. Until time ran out.

    Then came stone.

Years later, Tomi wakes up to a world made of stone and glass and half-forgotten blueprints. Senku’s still there—older, sharper, just as infuriating—and somehow the only thing that still feels familiar. They don’t talk about before. Not directly. But it bleeds in: the late nights in the lab, the tension that hummed louder than any engine, the things neither of them said out loud.

Now they're rebuilding civilization from scratch—calculations first, emotions filed somewhere under “pending.” But when survival stops being the only priority, they’re left with what they never tested: the thing between them. Too volatile to define. Too important to fail.

    They called it science.

But maybe it was always something else.

    Summary

When the world turned to stone, I thought I was finally getting the one thing I’ve always wanted:

    Silence.

    Instead?

I got petrified next to Senku freaking Ishigami—a genius with zero social skills, infinite scientific facts, and the inability to shut up.

He counted every second we were frozen.

    Out loud.

That's 117,354,893,870 seconds of math, monologues, and smug energy—right in my ear.

Now we’re awake, mildly alive, and forced to rebuild humanity with sticks, sarcasm, and questionable chemistry—literal and emotional. He’s inventing fire. I’m inventing reasons not to throw him into it.

Romance? Please. I’m just trying not to commit murder with a sharpened stick.

Survival requires teamwork. Teamwork requires communication.
And communication means more of his voice.

    Pray for me.
Or at least invent noise-cancelling leaves.

    Summary

A gloved hand landed on his back, successfully breaking what little concentration Ed had been keeping to stay balanced, and his face was very quickly planted in wet and sticky sand. He tried to get up, tried to force his body to work, but nothing helped. A pained whine left his throat, and the gloved hand was now trying to push him onto his back.

A sound fell from his bloody lips, unheard by its owner as he was pulled to Roy’s chest. Ed couldn’t help but curl into the hold, burying his face in the Colonel’s jacket, no doubt staining it with his blood. Roy said nothing, or maybe he did, his chest simply vibrating as he started running, moving swiftly through debris and over discarded bodies. So many had fallen this day, and there was nothing they could do about it, not anymore. Funny how things work, as the last thing Ed saw before it all faded to black was his superior yelling something to him, fear plain in his eyes.

    Summary

There’s a magician living in an abandoned warehouse down on the Tricorner Docks.

Park Row has its fair share of strange tales and rumors floating through the cracks. The kids of the alley talk at length, telling ghost stories and cautionary tales. Passing advice on how to survive from one night to the next in the form of fun little parables that make the cold nights feel a little bit warmer, and maybe let them pretend that their lives are all a fun little game, just for a few moments.

The magician, at first, feels like a fable. Something that a kid saw and read just a little bit wrong and didn’t wait around to find out what was really going on. The kid who spotted the magician – a 9 year old red-head with green eyes and a smattering of freckles across his pale face – tells the tale like a myth.

A magician with golden hair and golden eyes, who clapped his hands together and rebuilt a car from scraps with a flash of light. Taking nothing in payment but a bottle of whiskey and a home-cooked meal.
