Caroline is bitten by a werewolf while trying to recruit new students, and has to call the one person she doesn't want to see. Who happens to be in the same city as her. / "Someone has claimed you."
The wolf had told her, cutting her off mid-sentence. Of course, she's heard of werewolf mates before but the thought had never truly occurred to her that a certain thousand year old hybrid might have staked a claim on her. Which, now that she's looking back at it, was pretty naive to think that he wouldn't. It would definitely explain certain things.
But either way, she was bitten. And now had to drink Klaus' blood. Then berate him for getting her bit in the first place. Sure, wolves can't exactly control when they claim someone but it's still his fault. She pulls out her phone, and calls him. He picks up on the second ring. "What a surprise this is."
