“I bet he’d tell me how much of a bad idea this is..” Wukong wondered, watching the cub bite at his fingers, not doing any damage. “Or maybe he’d help me, accept this cub as yours as well and-” Mk watched as Wukong let out a shaky breath, slowly taking his hand away. “Well, that doesn’t matter. Rest up cub, I’ll get you to the mortals tomorrow.”

"Kid, what's in yer backpack?" The chef asked with a suspicious look.
"That's what I was trying to explain!" he said, unzipping his bag to reveal a crying baby monkey with bright orange downy fur.
MK began to bounce from foot to foot slightly, trying to settle the cub but it only made the crying worse. Fat globs of tears rolled down the little ones face as he cried and hiccuped.
"I can't get him to stop!" MK shouted over the crying.
"Is that?!-" Tang tried to interject, finally snapped out of his tired haze.
"The monkey king, yes, now please help me get him to stop crying! " he shouted again
Or what happens when MK doesn't listen to monkey king's warnings about not messing around in a room full of dangerous artifacts.

Avians, according to the ancient Greeks, were blessed by the gods to have wings to ride the winds on like birds. Greed, however, turned people against Avians, and the stories were lost to time. The gods gave Avians a way to hide their wings from others who wanted them for money.
Now, Avians are rare. Where they once soared through the air, they stay on the ground, wings clipped or cut off. Dick is wary of the people around him, until Bruce finds out.
Naturally, he thinks that Bruce might do something bad. Naturally, Bruce does the complete opposite and gets help from Wonder Woman to teach his ward 'how to bird' as Dick puts it.
And, naturally, Dick becomes a protector of all, especially Avians.
!NOTE: This fic is discontinued due to a lack of motivation to write a long fic for this AU. I will be creating one shots for this AU in random order, much like my Voltron AU, and I will leave this fic up for anyone who wants to read it, but this fic is not a part of my Avian AU anymore.!

Day 1: (The Unchangeable Changes) Snow - After the gang flees from Lady Bone Demon in S2 E10, they set off on a journey to the west- but the west is a long way from the familiar comfort of home. MK struggles with the sudden changes.
Day 2: (The Known, The Unknown, The Please Don't Tell a Soul) Eavesdropping - Set sometime around S1 E7 (Impossible Delivery), MK finally begins training with Monkey King. The monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain have a lot to say about their king, however, and MK has a sneaking suspicion that he’s not supposed to know any of it.
Day 8: (Baby's Breath) Smile - In an alternate universe, Sun Wukong comes face-to-face with the most daunting monster he has ever come across during his Journey: the protector of an unheavenly peach tree.
Day 10: (Desert Water) Care - In our original timeline, the Samadhi Fire reforges and almost tears Mei apart. In this timeline, things aren’t much better.

Summary
After Azure Lion was defeated, everything seemed normal. Sun Wukong and his monkeys had moved to a mountain near Megapolis for the time being, and Macaque would pop up every now and then. They were back to their Monster of the Week adventures.
MK, being MK, decides to go try out some food from a nearby food truck. Of course, the food ends up being cursed, and he goes into a feral, primitive state. The bad thing is that this also makes him revert to his monkey form.
Everyone else is along for the ride.

And Kai knew from losing so many in the past, that instead of spiraling, he should be selfless. But Jay didn't see it that way, and for some reason, this angered him.
