Summary
Midoriya Izuku and Todoroki Shouto are a lot of things: Pro heroes, housemates, and secretly in love with one another (not that they’d admit that.) They’re also shipped together by hero fans everywhere.
Izuku didn’t mean to stumble across the Tododeku fandom online. Nor did he mean to start reading and writing fanfiction about it. And he definitely didn’t plan to be the most popular author of the fandom, Mighty_smash.
Shouto didn’t mean to start getting obsessed with Mighty_smash’s stories. Really, he didn’t. But this Mighty person had really good characterisation, and Shouto really wanted to know how the stories ended.
After all, if they couldn’t have each other in real life, then at least Izuku and Shouto could have fictional versions of themselves that did.

The invisible person feels like his partner, a co-conspirator in this secret. A protector.
Izuku might not have a quirk, but he does have a friend.
Or: when a passing ghost protects Izuku from a group of bullies, everyone thinks Izuku's quirk has finally manifested. Telekinesis, just like Inko.

Teddy bears going black where flame consumed them, boiling water, and the way gossip could burn fingerprints into your thoughts, all taught him well. Possessions are fragile and human affection is fleeting.
But recently something has ignited inside of him, and no amount of cool rational can seem to dissuade his heart from leaking into this head. It appears Izuku Midoriya has personally set out on a mission to deconstruct years of careful mental and emotional blocks.
