to say it was a surprise was an understatement because no one has ever been able to recognize Zhongli as his past self before. Aether glanced between the two, questions rising inside his head. even the talkative Paimon was unusually quiet, unsure of what to say.
“I am not here to cause trouble, Gauri.” Zhongli answered calmly, yet Aether failed to see the glint of uncertainty hidden in his amber orbs. “I am here to accompany a friend.”
the woman’s eyes now flickered over to Aether, her enthralling violet eyes scrutinizing the traveler. she turned to Paimon, who immediately hides behind Aether's back under her heavy gaze.
"I am surprised you didn't inform them beforehand, but it's not out of character either." the woman turned her back against them, her figure slowly turning into thousands of flower petals and swirling around before them.
"what is it that you are looking for in Sumeru, Traveler?"
