Turning her head, she noticed a bit of sploshing in the water. Sand crunched underneath her red sandals as she walked hesitantly over to the commotion. She would be able to get a better vantage point if she crawled onto a cluster of rocks not too far away. Almost slipping on the slick surface, she groaned. What was she doing? It could be a shark for all she knew! Wait, do sharks even come this close to shore? Hanako jolted as a large fish-like tail sprung out of the water.
Okay, definitely not a shark.
It was cream colored and frilly, the tips a lovely shade of teal green. It kinda reminded her of a delicate fish, something you would see in an aquarium tank, the size was odd however. Another splash, closer to her this time, causing her to flinch a bit, almost losing her balance on the rock.

Eyes groggy and mouth pouting, Mitsuba grumbled, obviously pissed. Grabbing hold of Kou's waist, he attempted to pull him back into the bed. "...s'too early..."

He’s gonna hear about it if supernatural stuff starts happening. And we can’t risk running into him. We can’t. So I’ll drag you onto the train myself if I have to, and that’s the end of it.”
A familiar hostile spark flickers to life in Mitsuba’s expression. “I am not taking a train,” he says witheringly. “Minamoto-kun, I’m not doing it. Are you insane? I mean, for real? Are you actually literally out of your extremely small mind? What if something happens?”
“To you?” says Kou. “Or because of you?”

The moment Mitsuba opened up to him, he couldn’t even deliver. How was he supposed to help any of his problems if he couldn’t even tackle this simple request? Kou hated that—hated how helpless he felt when it came to the things Mitsuba couldn’t have.
As he grew more increasingly frustrated, an idea popped into his head. The blonde exclaimed with a grin, “Oh wait; if you enjoyed the aquarium that much, we could visit the zoo instead! It’s kinda similar; there’s lots of animals there as well!”
“…A zoo?”
