When the Predacons come for Starscream, they succeed in capturing him and holding him prisoner in an abandoned base. Rather than kill him, the Predaking has other plans.

Summary
Shockwave himself was impartial to trauma. He did not face such fallacies the ways others did. Starscream however, was a different story. And who would have known that the war and Megatron’s violence would give him night terrors, even years after his former master had vanished. Shockwave does not completely understand nightmares, but he still helps Starscream any way he can.
/When Starscream has nightmares due to his past abuse, Shockwave offers help in his own way.

Summary
To Starscream, it is simply a bruise from a failed mission. He had dealt with worse; a scratch and punch to his face is nothing to worry about. To Megatron however, seeing Starscream beaten brings back painful memories of the past, and it not simply something he can ignore.

When a mission goes awry and Starscream is injured, Megatron's own trauma flares, as shameful emotions from the past resurface.

Summary
When Shockwave lost his memories, Starscream made the mistake of attempting to manipulate him for his own personal goals. If he couldn’t kill Shockwave, memories or not, well he could at least use him against Megatron. Nearly a year later, that plan clearly did not work out and Starscream finds himself in quite an interesting predicament. Not that he’s complaining in the slightest.

Years ago, there would have been pure satisfaction watching Starscream’s spark extinguish. Many times Megatron had dreamt of doing it himself. Yet now when Megatron stands redeemed as a dual leader of New Cybertron, giving the order to have Starscream executed was the last thing he ever wanted to do.

When Maeglin was re-embodied in Valinor, he was banished from Tirion. In his absence, Aredhel breaks free from her family and seeks him out, eventually finding him. The two live with one another for a while, but Maeglin notices a change in his mother, and decides to address it.

Summary
Maeglin survives the Fall of Gondolin and years later he finds himself a Lord of Sirion and adviser to Elwing. And though he prefers to live quietly, it is near impossible with two twins always pulling on his robes (not that he minds at all). Still, for a time things are peaceful. Yet when messengers come requesting the Silmaril , Maeglin fears the banners of war will emerge soon. And when Elros and Elrond are taken following the destruction, he unfortunately becomes a prisoner with them.

AU in which following the Sacking of Sirion, Maeglin unintentionally (and completely unwillingly to begin with) becomes part of the kidnap fam and is a participant of the shenanigans that ensue.

Since returning to Valinor, Maglor long understood why Elrond turned away from him, and for a while that was easy to accept. But when Eärendil, father of Elrond and beloved by him, takes an interest in Maglor (and foolishly Maglor returns the feelings) it’s hard for Maglor not to think about the kind elf he once called son.

Maglor misses Elrond but respects his complicated feelings. Eärendil notices and in turn, tells Maglor all he wishes to know of the Peredhel.

As a child, Eärendil hated Maeglin for betraying Gondolin to Morgoth. Since his kingdom fell, Eärendil regarded his cousin as weak for breaking under the torture of the Dark Lord. All changes however, when Eärendil faces Morgoth and his forces on the battlefield. Now, filled with nothing but sympathy for his cousin, he seeks him out in Valinor to mend what was broken.

Pain and sacrifices birth the most beautiful of creations, and while a prisoner of Sauron’s torment, Celebrimbor learns this well. When he refuses to hand over the location of the rings to his former lover, Sauron violates him in one final way. Combining both his essence and Celebrimbor’s blood, a creature is formed from their unholy union. Yet all is not as it seems, as through agony and despair beauty forms, and Celebrimbor finds happiness even in his darkest hours.

Sauron creates a child using his and Celebrimbor’s essence. Expecting to hate the creation however, Celebrimbor feels the opposite and the will to escape survive is reborn within him again.

With harsh restrictions placed upon him, and shunned by elven society, he attempts to find and rekindle a relationship with Fingon. To his surprise, the golden ribboned elf turns him away.
Living in banishment, Maedhros slowly settles into his loneliness and solitude. Yet when another Nolofinwean, just as hated as him comes to his doorstep, he soon discovers he is not so lonely anymore.

Usually resigned to the forests. However, his solitude takes a turn when in the woods one day, he hears the distant sound of a harp and follows. There his eyes lay upon the reclusive son of Fëanor, Maglor.

Over years of growing an acquaintance with Maglor from the stars, Eärendil falls for him. That is why, when Maglor takes to the sea with the silmaril and himself, rather than allow him to drown, Eärendil abandons his station and jumps into the ocean to save him.
