Stanford "Psychic Sixir" Pines is a boy from Glass Shard New Jersey, but unlike his peers he is special. His Polydactyl granting him the ability to use an amulet his father had given him to scam people from their money. Great.
Separated at birth, yet their destiny still leads them together in West Coast Tech, one of the most prestigious universities in the country. For both it's their escape, and also their truth. Who is this stranger that looks too much like me? Why were medical records tampered with and why is it all leading towards a small town in Oregon called Gravity Falls?
Will they be able to uncover the truth of their separation? Will Stanley be able to run far away from his mistakes? Will Ford be able to figure out the origins of his amulet? And who is Bill Cipher?
Were they always destined to be doomed?

Stan tries to blink his eyes back into focus, but he’s still seeing white. Fuck, did that thing blind him? He waves a hand in front of his eyes, a little surprised when his fingers clearly come into view against the white. Okay, he can still see, but if he’s not blind, then that means…
Horror dawns on him as he realizes he’s staring at the snowy exterior of Ford’s house. His trembling hands come up to rest on the steering wheel. He’s back in his car. What the fuck?
Stan’s mind is racing. How did he get back out here? His eyes dart to the clock on the dashboard, but wait, that can’t be right. He doesn’t know exactly how long he spent in Ford’s place, half an hour? An hour, maybe? But no, the hands haven’t moved an inch.
OR
Stan finds himself stuck in a time loop on the day that he visits Ford in Oregon after ten long years apart. Stan struggles to keep Ford safe and figure out what's making him so paranoid while also trying to understand and escape the time loop. He's beginning to think that he's doomed to be a loser, but he's not sure which is worse: losing his brother or losing his mind.
