You could hardly register a single thought as you reached the dead end of the alleyway. Thoughts scrambled in your mind as you shakily stood atop the ever-so convenient garbage to climb over the other side. The more you struggled, the closer he sounded, his ragged breathing and heavy footsteps causing your heart beat to skyrocket into the stratosphere. As you begin to worm yourself onto the course brick wall by your stomach, a large hand grabs you by your ankle, slinging you down with such ease that you thought he'd sent you flying halfway across the street. Now with bloody palms, you stare up at your pursuer, eyes wide with fear.

“Hello, Mr. Raglan.” Mike greeted, offering his hand in greeting, the corners of his mouth curling into a slight smile, trying not to pick to that little nickname.
“Mr. Raglan? Call me Steve!” William warmly encouraged, using the false name he'd had for years. He'd gladly ask Mike to call him William. Mike was so charming and innocent, after all. He'd gladly kill him now, but he was waiting for the right moment. He could have said goodbye under different circumstances, with different words, claiming him as his next victim.

Paintbrush wants to feel like a star. Admired, adored, idolized, loved more than they can even comprehend or reciprocate. Fan has a lot of love that he wants to give in his own special, crazy way— the intense love for them that he feels for them, not as their partner but as Inanimate Insanity’s biggest fan, that he’s just bursting at the seams to express and indulge in to all it’s true extent and hideousness… as long as Paintbrush is okay with walking alone and defenseless through the woods in the middle of the night. Which they are. It’s quite a convenient arrangement.

Mira didn’t even know what she was waiting for. She told Zoey that they should wait, but wait for what, exactly?
The thought of just coming up to Rumi and going, “Hey, we find your patterns sexy, wanna take off your clothes so we can admire it and maybe have a threesome?” was becoming more and more appealing by the day.
