Summary
I've been inspired by Diionysan's Spamtenna Swap AU. I follow him on Insta, beautiful artwork, I can't get enough, I highly highly recommend checking him out.
For those who are unfamiliar, essentially Spamton is the 'Big Shot' and presides over ADWorld. Tenna was a rarely used TV that made a deal similar to OG Spamton in order to be noticed and loved again. The deal caved on Tenna and he underwent a major transformation, kinda puppet-ifcation, becoming smaller and weaker, unable to stand and having to constantly carry his TV head in his hands.
So I'm writing fluff of them. Tenna ends up back in ADWorld with the Fun Gang. Spamton at first doesn't recognize him (calling him some kind of 'rat creature'). Minor shenanigans then fluff because I'm impatient and live to write fluff.

Summary
He became aware of it early, only a bit after he’d adjusted to his other, more obvious changes. He’d been running from a Werewire and cracked his head against the ground. It should have been a hard enough hit to have his skull splitting with agony. Instead, it had been next to nothing, barely more noticeable than a day-old papercut. He’d thought maybe it was the adrenaline. But even hours later, once the fear of the fight had worn off, he still felt nothing but a mild itch around what he learned, thanks to the reflective surface of a shattered laptop he found in one of the dumpsters, was a crack extending all the way from above where his right eyebrow had once been down to the bridge of his nose.
OR: After finally reuniting with Tenna and getting to feel safety for the first time in over a decade, Spamton gets the chance to actually absorb the consequences of some of the other parts of his transformation. Like the fact that having your nerves either pulled out or wrapped in plastic instead of skin deadens your sense of touch, and takes away all the comfort that goes with it.

However, a hard hit to the head dramatically alters his situation and keeps him trapped in a world he hates with the one person in all the worlds he despises even more.

Ok so I'm DOGASS at descriptions but I'll give it my best.
Tenna gets his arms cut off and whist out cold has a religious experience and is told the WHOLE TRUTH about why Spamton left, and has a little crisis, then is fixed and taken back to Castle Town.
He IMMEDIATELY goes to try and find Spamton, to which he gets jumped in the garbage zone and falls in a trash can, getting a box stuck on his head, the person who jumped him tries helping him get it off, while Tenna just yaps while he tries to get the box off his head.I wonder who the guy who jumped him is oooooooo.
Yeah it's his ex-husband, not that either of them know that yet though.

Summary
So when the sword descends on him, Spamton can’t tear his gaze away. Quite literally unable to do so, being bound to the top of Kris’ head as the Dealmakers, but even if he was, he imagined this moment so many times, it felt so surreal to actually watch it happen.
He imagined it pained, mortified, grieving, when he first found out. He imagined it every time he saw Tenna’s smiling face in the back rooms, in bars, or curled up on the couch. Later, he imagined it triumphant, gratified, vindictive, when nested on the bottom of the dumpster, alone, muttering the names of his lost friends all to himself.
In all honesty, even after they parted, he imagined it both ways, at the same time.

After the events of Chapter 3 which unfurled in front of Spamton's very own eyes, he tries to find Tenna to get back something (someone) he left him. But when he sees how glooby his ex-partner is... he wonders if he can get some help from Castletown Darkners to fix that.
A mix of comedy and drama, cause I can't have my sillies without the tragic, and my tragics without some sillies. That's the true UTDR way!
