Summary
At twelve years old, the Hero of Legend nearly dies inside the palace of the Four Sword. Worlds away, the Hero of Lorule is saved by the ghost of a shadow. Opposites and equals in every way, the two boys are haunted by the Hero of Light’s legacy.
Life goes on, through love and war and the machinations of gods.
Shadow never expected to wake up again after shattering the Dark Mirror. Without the Hero he was created to follow, what’s the point of him? It’s a brave new world, and Shadow has no choice but to change with it, blissfully unaware of the Four Sword resting just below his feet.

"…Can you hear me?" the voice replies, timid. Warriors tries to relax. Whoever it is, they're as scared of him as he is of them.
"Yes," Warriors says. "You can come out now. I won't hurt you."
"I'm not hiding," the boy says. "You're standing on me."
Warriors looks down at his feet. The small, delicate flowers squish under his boots.
"Are you… in the ground?" he asks.
"Yes," the boy answers. "This is my grave."

Apocalypse: Star Rail might be the worst game Dr. Veritas Ratio has ever played. In what world is murdering half the known universe for no reason even remotely reasonable? What kind of game kills off its most compelling characters just for shock value?

spoilers for hsr 3.3
When it comes to predatory, soul-sucking gacha games, Cosmic Impact Rail Zero was probably the worst of the worst. Did it have incredible characters? Yes. An engaging storyline? Double yes. Did it make Mydei want to blow his entire paycheck on weapons and skins and more rolls? Of course it did.
But it also killed off basically every character in the game, including the crown prince that shared Mydei's name– Mydeimos the Undying, Son of Gorgo. How the hell was that even possible?! He literally had undying in his title!?
So when the developers ask for feedback, Mydei goes off on a heated tangent– and finds himself reincarnated as his namesake. You know– the doomed prince, destined for a life of hardship? Destined to die?
Not if Mydei has anything to say about it.
