“Are you hurt?” The young cultivator asked in a soft voice, as if he expected an answer— even though he was already prodding Wei Ying’s ears and legs to see for himself. When he didn’t find evidence of injury he seemed to relax. “Are you frightened?”
If Wei Ying were human, he would have blushed and tried to crack a joke to hide it. As a rabbit, he could only kick his feet like a shy toddler.
“Wangji? I heard a commotion. Is everything alright?”
With the swiftness of a child being caught up past their bedtime, Wei Ying was shoved inside a billowing sleeve.

This is a ‘The Disabled Tyrant’s Beloved Pet Fish’ AU for Wangxian. That series captured my heart, so then this happened. For those who don’t know that story; you don’t have to read it to read this. I don’t follow the plot at all, and I even changed the premise a bit. It’s only loosely inspired by it.
Also just to be clear: Wei Ying is not a rabbit 100% of the time.

Shen Qingqiu has a bare moment of dismayed comprehension before Luo Binghe is moving again, releasing his hold on Xiu Ya only so that he can swirl around Shen Qingqiu in a blindingly fast movement, getting behind Shen Qingqiu and using his now-free right arm to pin Shen Qingqiu against him, Shen Qingqiu’s back to his chest.
“Caught you, Shizun,” Luo Binghe says in Shen Qingqiu’s ear, and then he tips them backward through the portal.
Two years after the Immortal Alliance Conference, Luo Binghe reappears in the Human Realm—directly on Qing Jing Peak, in order to kidnap Shen Qingqiu to the Demon Realm. Little does Shen Qingqiu know, this isn’t the right Luo Binghe.
The Original Luo Binghe has finally, after years of searching, found a kind Shizun of his own to kidnap and keep in his own universe—and this time, no one is going to take Shizun from him.

And who better to upstage the cheating bastard than the Saviour of the World, Harry Potter himself? Sure, Potter is a little rough around the edges in ripped jeans, a rumpled tartan shirt, and a permanent scowl. Draco reckons a haircut and a shave wouldn’t hurt, either. But Potter is also in need of a Healer willing to keep his secrets, and Draco is just the man for the job. It’s a perfectly reasonable exchange. They need only attend a couple parties arm-in-arm, smile nicely for the paparazzi, and tolerate each other long enough to convince everyone they’re smitten. In return, Draco will keep Potter alive and in one piece.
But it isn’t long before Draco realises he might be in over his head, because Potter is ten tonnes of trouble packed into a leather jacket, and seems keen on hurtling himself towards death on the back of a flying motorbike. And that says nothing of Potter’s penchant for fire-breathing beasts and things that bite.
Ah well, at least they’ll have some fun while it lasts. After all, Draco always did like a bit of danger.

When it's something important, like a ghost curse or a fundamentally unstable necromantic practice, Wei WuXian keeps it to himself. "Ridiculous," Lan WangJi tells him. Wei WuXian grins down at him.
