Nemo's eyes darted around as he tried to locate the voice. Mary Katharine pushed harder on his chest, trying desperately to stop the blood from pouring from his body. Her heart beat loudly in her chest, a constant reminder of the precious seconds that passed without Nemo getting help.
"Dammit, Cyrus!" Mary Katharine called across the sounds of Radiance blasts. She barely even registered the crack in her own voice, how uncharacteristically close to tears she sounded.

Viola, shipwrecked and alone, disguises herself as a boy to seek employment in the house of duke Orsino.
but, when he sends her to woo the lady Olivia in his place, she finds that her new role as a man may have affected her in more ways than she anticipated.
while Orsino, grows increasingly jealous of Olivia's fascination for his servant.The original play-rewritten so that Olivia now ends up with Viola and Sebastian with Antonio.
leaving Orsino to be a (sort of) villain. There's also about 60% more yearning throughout- a lot of trans subtext in violas general direction, mistaken identity shenanigans, and one(1) very sexually charged swordfight. Also a (slightly) happier ending for Malvolio -

“There’s someone I want you to meet.” Bevan replied as he turned to flick through the file to his left, searching for a certain profile.
“What, do you think I can’t do this on my own?” He retorted, leaning back in his chair, “Come on, I’m better than that.”
“I know you are. That’s exactly why I’m giving him to you.” Bevan spun the folder around so he could see. “Here’s your man.” He tapped his finger on the photo at the top of the profile. Montagu leaned in closer, pulling the file toward him, “He’s been with the force for a while - 6 years, to be exact - but requested to move precincts at the start of the year given he wasn’t exactly…popular at the last one and wants a fresh start.”
“Why?”
“Couldn’t tell you. Frankly he seems like a lovely man and a very hard worker, but popularity is rarely about personality. Either way, I think you’d get along with him.”The boys catch a murderer.
