Some say that Hell is Other People, but Hell is really Yourself
You end up there with nothing but a face you don’t recognize and memories you’d rather forget. You’re told to shed your old name and take up a new one, and with it you lose the last real part of who you used to be. Desperate to forget the things you did or the things you didn’t do, knowing that there’s no longer any real consequence, you dive deeper into Sin, both those you already did and those you didn’t. If you had any care for anyone else, any lines you wouldn’t have crossed in life, you squash it down or run across them so you can survive against a world where everyone’s out for themselves.
There comes a day when most Sinners look into a mirror and can barely remember who the person they were in life was like, because nothing that stares back bears any resemblance to that person.
It can happen to anyone who falls into the Pit, but not if your will is strong enough and you surround yourself with people to hold you back.
With the right influence, someone can hold onto the few morals they had in life.
With the wrong, someone burns away those morals with hellfire.

“Yeah, I think we all got that.”
…………..no. No they didn’t get that. They knew it, but they didn’t understand it.
When Caine was first created, the people who made him try to keep things simple with his instructions, which, very unfortunately, meant that they neglected to include a few things. Namely information about humans, and most pressingly, morality.
But that didn’t mean Caine was evil.
It just meant that he had no idea what made something good or bad, morally speaking.
So, given that he was made to make everyone in the program happy, and he had no sense of what was not ok to do, he would just do whatever it took to make every character in his circus happy.
So when everyone was mad at him or scared of him immediately after the Escape the Circus Adventure?
Obviously the correct course of action was to erase everyone’s memory of the day and then lock himself away to figure out what he could do next that would actually make all the humans happy.
He would figure out something that worked for everyone.
He had to.
It was his directive.

Summary
There is a reason that nobody can escape the circus, and it is not a happy one.
The truth is that when you scan someone’s brain, it takes a lot of electricity, and without the right amount of finesse, the scan can end up being fatal.
And nobody would ever say that Caine ever handled anything with finesse.
When someone connected to the circus, electricity flowed through the headset into the body; it may have preserved and uploaded the person’s memory to the circus, but it killed the body.
Caine always erased the last moments of a new human’s life, so that nobody would ever know that and become despondent.
………………………….but Jax knew.
He had known long before he had put on the headset that there was a good chance that it would kill him.
In fact………………….he had been counting on it.

Summary
Lucifer has a one-night-stand with Alastor after an argument with Lilith, which results in the conception of Charlie. However, neither of them realise it. It's only revealed after the Radio Demon shows up at the Happy Hotel, intending to cause some chaos out of spite for Lucifer, but is met with a girl who shares some curious traits with him.
Alastor never intended to become a parent (Hell he didn't even know it was possible), yet he swears he'll be the best father he can. Perhaps he got more than he bargined fo when he slept with the King of Hell, simply intending on wringing a deal out of the man.... But he cannot be angry at the outcome, not when it resulted in the birth of his daughter and the start of his relationship with Lucifer. If only Heaven wasn't intent on putting their nose where it isn't wanted, things would be perfect.
Let's hope they can weather the incoming storm together.
