When Loki meets with a Tesseract powered weapon and a drug that can remove his seidr, he's captured by Hydra circa. 1945 and meets one James 'Bucky' Barnes, joining the Winter Soldier project with no choice of his own.

Ending up on Midgard, the royal brothers and Bruce must meet up with the Avengers and come up with a plan. However, Loki’s reappearance on Midgard is initially met with waves of distrust.
