Batman paused in his step, looking around the small home. His eyes landed on a dark brown haired man, sat in a chair, with a book open on his lap. His limbs were rather thin, and scrawny, and he wore glasses to read; Fear the Sky by Stephen Moss. It's not exactly something you'd expect the "good" doctor to read, but sometimes he needed a break from science.
Jonathan Crane, also dubbed the "Scarecrow", looked up from his book, eyeing Batman with tired bags under his eyes, and rubbed his nose with scabbed fingers. "Do I need to repeat m'self?" He asked, in a tone that suggested he didn't particularly want to.
"No," Bruce Wayne, under the alias of "Batman", said in a short quip, showing he hadn't been startled to see Jonathan there.Or;
Bruce is trying to find a stolen ring, and all the evidence leads to The Riddler. However, he finds Scarecrow there...
