Summary
Androids Seventeen and Eighteen have decimated the future, and now they're bored. What else is there to do besides lay around the ruined wastes of the Earth and occasionally mess with Trunks, the Half Saiyan warrior intent on their destruction? Rather than put her efforts into a time machine, Bulma Briefs creates a way to incapacitate one of them. What Seventeen thinks is a harmless game of playing with his food will shake him to his very foundation and make him rethink everything he has done since he lost his humanity, and standing above him will be the one man he's taken the most from.

Summary
When Trunks turns seventeen something happens between him and his best friend that forever changes their dynamic. Spurred on by a royal Saiyan instinct to have a mate, Trunks' accidentally creates a deep soulbond between them, and Goten is immediately his entire world. On Vegetasai this would be simple and accepted, but this is Earth. Trunks and Goten now have to try to fit an alien instinct into the confines of a healthy, human-enough relationship. Meanwhile the biological imperative in Trunks' head is pushing him to protect Goten at all costs, from even the most minor of threats. If they don't legitimize the claim in time, it will drive him slowly insane. This is a rewrite of my previous work, The Stages of a Claim, explanation in the beginning note.

Summary
Trunks tends to take life for granted. He has all the money he could want, close friends, and his hands in Capsule Corp's pockets. His future counterpart has very little, and can't help but watch from afar as another version of himself lives a happy, charmed life. Shaken by a recent loss, Future Trunks shows up one day to even the scales, determined to take the one thing that will cause Trunks the most happiness in his life. Unbeknownst to Trunks, he and Goten are fated to one day realize their feelings for each other and live happily ever after, unless a certain time traveler can manage to steal Goten right out from under his nose. Trunks, having learned of the plan immediately, doesn't have many choices. His only option is to somehow save a relationship he didn't even know he wanted before his future self steals his soulmate away forever.

They find a small village looking for a physician, but they can never forget that their relationship is illegal. There are those in the village who would kill them if they knew, and some who hate them for other reasons entirely. They will have to earn their place in their new community, and keep their love a secret in the process.
