PRO is hell and you’ll be more miserable than you’ve ever been in your life, but if you can tough it out then I can transfer you back to the NCR as a program officer no problem. I’m talking indeterminate position, salary bump, benefits, vacation, prospects for advancement, the whole package. Think on it, okay?”
And now here Sasuke was—back in the NCR, mildly scarred from four months working under Kabuto—only to find his apartment uninhabitable, his relationship moving faster than anticipated, his out-of-touch manager even more out-of-touch than he remembered, and the future of his brand new indeterminate-with-benefits-and-vacations position hinging on the achievement of a successful BBB on his language test. A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

The door on the other side of the U-Haul popped open, an assortment of fast-food containers scattering to the floor as it did so. A foot dropped to the floor amidst the greasy debris, and Izuku’s heart skittered a little when the long, denim-clad leg it was attached to came into view. Door slamming shut with a thunk, a sullen-faced blonde boy was revealed from behind it, hands bunched deep into the pockets of a bomber jacket.
Where Izuku’s heart had skittered before, it all but stopped beating at the sight of him. He was freaking gorgeous.
