“Do you think roses are red, and violets are blue, Furi-chan?”
Freodore gives him a quizzical look at the brunette, furrowing his eyebrows in puzzlement. After a few seconds of deliberate consideration, he calmly replies, “Well…even if I can’t see red very well, that doesn’t mean I can’t imagine it.”
Seible pauses his train of thought. All he saw were splotches of blended colors. He wonders if the same applies to Furi-chan.
With a sudden intrusive thought in mind, he slyly quips, “What color do you see me as, Furi-chan?”
Freodore’s lips crept up slightly at his remark, indicating the smallest hint of a smile. “Blue, don't you think? I think I can see you well enough, Seible.”

“You can lean on me, hyung.”
Yushi once told him this when they were still trainees in Lastart. Sion locked eyes with him and the younger wordlessly lent his shoulder towards him, subtly moving a tad closer so he could access his arm.
Since then, Sion could not help leaning on Yushi, whether subconsciously or intentionally. He became drawn to his side, finding himself seeking him out more as time progressed. The younger member he once viewed as a mere baby in the past was now becoming a sturdy companion he could rely on. This anchoring feeling only grew, growing into a need, quietly blooming to become an urgent impulse.
Until leaning on each other no longer became enough.

Summary
Rain pours on the edges of the pavement, rippling a pool of puddles. Yushi remains standing even as his dark hair soaks wet, droplets of water drip from his chin down to his neck in the middle of the rain, looking up at the sky.
The sound of rain calms him, for the whole world becomes silent instantly. All sounds around him become background noise as he closes his eyes, simply feeling the water on his skin and the moistness of his hands. He completely surrenders to his subconscious as he takes in this moment.
He hears footsteps approaching him, another boy not looking much better than him. Soaked wet from top to bottom. Alone, just like him.
His chest aches when he hears his voice, unable to pull away.
“Don’t stand there. You’ll catch a cold.”

Summary
“I received an unknown letter from someone. It seems like they really like me,” Ryo casually states. Sakuya pauses from taking a bite of his sandwich the moment he hears his friend’s words, raising his eyebrow in question.
“A letter? From who?”
“I don’t know, that’s what I’m trying to figure out. Any idea who you think it could be? It's driving me crazy,” Ryo eyes him and shows his friend the letter. Sakuya observes the details - there isn’t much to it, other than a white letter with a handwritten cursive sentence that says,
I really like your smile.
Sakuya looks him in the eye with a blank expression on his face. “Not sure either, to be honest.”
He hopes Ryo finds out the culprit behind the mysterious letter soon.

“When I grow up, I want to always be together with Sakuya,” Ryo declares without hesitation, his best friend too busy grabbing cotton candy at a nearby store to hear their conversation.
His mother smiles amusedly before she squats down to his eye level, gently telling him, “My, how cute. It looks like my son is experiencing his first puppy love,”
In the back of his mind, he wonders if they underestimate his capacity to understand feelings. They are too young to understand what love is, they would say.
For Ryo, he figured out his heart fairly quickly.

Juudai initially asked about “card crushes” (which he still doesn’t entirely understand), and now here they are, Johan drawing from his deck while casually dropping a bomb into the conversation.
“Sure,” Johan answers. “Who says alphas can’t be with other alphas?”
