He did not expect to come across a group of, so called, superheros while having a walk. He certanly did not expect that they would ask for his help to deal with a certain trickster god. It seems that no matter where he goes, trouble really likes to find him.

Harry thought he knew what his life was going to be like. There were two escenarios. One, he did not survive the war and died trying to put a stop to Voldemort. Or, he lived and defeated the most powerful Dark Lord of all times, in which case, he would marry a nice witch, have many kids and live a long, peaceful life.
But one letter from Gringotts was all it took to bring the house of cards he had been living in to come tumbling down.
Having had enough of manipulations and painful loses, Harry decides that he will have no part in this war.
Sadly, things never tend to go the way Harry would like. And the apperance of someone earily similar to his godfather does complicate a couple of things. -

Enough is enough for one Harry James Potter, as he uproots his life in Britain and moves overseas to the one place he believes he will have a chance at a new life. Now he has to deal with a rather peculiar war - if it can be referred as such - while trying to find a way to return to his time, even if a part of him does not feel inclined to return.

“The first group I sent over made the Avengers uncomfortable by thanking them constantly and asking for autographs. The next group stole things to sell on ebay. The group after that didn’t even get through the front door because Stark’s security system found something in their background that we missed. The fourth group left traumatized after cleaning out Thor’s room, apparently the god had some beheaded poultry dripping blood into a bowl in there. Then after that every group I’ve left hasn’t lasted more than three days because of some problem or another. I’m pretty sure one of those assholes has made it a game to scare my workers away.”
“I don’t think you’re supposed to call the heroes of New York assholes.”
Or, cleaning up after the Avengers involves more than just getting blood stains out of the carpet and most of them can't take the heat. Thankfully the Savior of the Wizarding has spent the last decade cleaning up after Death Eaters, so she's up to the task. Nothing, not pranks, bird corpses, or unidentified slime will keep her from cleaning up.

Being the Master of Death made life difficult, especially when you need to save all of magical Europe from inbreeding its way to extinction. At least Death was enjoying watching his Master attempt this over and over again. Harry didn't find it nearly as entertaining. Well, tenth times the charm right?
