Summary
Newly freed after Nysa Defile, the omega assassin known as Wyvern finds himself grappling with the terrifying realities of freedom, a long-ignored thirst for revenge, and a pregnancy he’s not sure he should have decided to keep.
Cid’s half sure he needs to step in before Wyvern kills himself pursuing everything that’s been denied him before his freedom, but he does know that if he tries, Wyvern might tear his throat out. Far be it from Cid to be an overbearing alpha, but he can’t just stand back and let Wyvern drive himself into the ground.
They make quite the pair, two disasters with a baby on the way.

Summary

Summary
In this canon-divergent story, Cid and Otto are starting up the Cursebreakers, but have only had minimal success with which of their runaway Bearers are actually capable of fighting. Thinking it best to purchase one from the black market instead, they head to Oriflamme, where Cid spots a young fire-aspected Branded that should serve his purposes well. Especially once he's able to reason out just who said Branded is: the young Lord Clive Rosfield.
Cid knows he has to do a delicate dance with "his" new "property" that he's purchased, and also knows that they have a long road of deprogramming and un-brainwashing ahead of them. Can Cid help Clive remember his independence? And can he do so without breaking the young man's fragile sanity? Will Clive be able to help Cid realize his dream of Cursebreakers, and aiding in the operations at the Hideaway, including the eventual liberation of Bearers?

Summary
After Veldermarke’s fall, treaties made under its banner are deemed lost and buried along with its ruin. But while young, the Kingdom of Waloed proves itself to be an indomitable force that guards the continent of Ash with such ferocity that it uneased its neighbours in Storm. Tension within the realm has never been so high with Sanbreque and Waloed locked in a contentious standstill over an overlapping territory.
In an attempt to avoid war from sparking, the nation leaders agree to convene on neutral grounds to negotiate an armistice, unknowing of a force that seeks to use the opportunity to their advantage, threatening to shake whatever brittle peace that may yet come to existence.
