Danny Fenton stood by the bulletin board, chewing on a plain granola bar. He wiped crumbs from his shirt and stared at the poster. "Great," he said under his breath. "I'm a junior now, so that means I have to watch over some freshman for the whole term." At sixteen, Danny already juggled enough— late-night homework, the science club and oh yeah, ruling over an Ghost Zone. The last thing he needed was extra duty.
Tucker bumped his shoulder lightly. "Chill out, Danny. It's not so rough. You'll make it through. Who knows? You might actually get along with the kid."
Danny let out a long groan “If by ‘like’ you mean I have to deal with another weird, serious Gotham kid, I’ll pass.”

Phantom Pains
“The pain of feeling something that is missing”–
Even before Danny died, she felt like something was missing. It was like her soul knew she wasn’t complete. She wasn’t where she was meant to be.
The day she found out it might be more than a feeling was the day her old life had died.
Now, with nothing more than a name and a city to go off of, Danny flees to Gotham, New Jersey.
But how is she supposed to find answers with all these wannabe furries running causing messes that she has to clean up?And why does that Detective keep looking at her like he’s seen a ghost? (pun unintended)

The war started suddenly, unexpectedly. No one was prepared for the destruction it brought with itself, the government declining any accusations that pointed at them as a cause.
Because it's always ghosts, right? They're not living, sentient beings; they can't think for themselves or make decisions (it's, after all, a human thing).
Batman has his own say in this but he can't do much when there's no proof, evidence. And then salvation comes in the form of a survivor – a teenager... Or does it?

Peter seems to remember who he is, his name, his losses, his responsibility as the 'friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man', but everything that led to this moment? That led to being stranded in this foreign place? Half-remembered and hastily stitched together.
Gotham is colder than New York, the faces are unfamiliar, the skyline jagged and grim, and the heroes... strange and foreign.
He is haunted by visions of a dour, inescapable green; his memories muddled and vague. He knows he needs to get his narrative in order, needs to remember it properly, but now Peter has garnered the unwanted attention of Gotham's idolised protectors. And try as he might, he cannot seem to shake them off.
