Summary
You kiss him because you love him. At least, you’re pretty sure you do. He smiles at you the way your Spock never does, and he knows you (mostly). He knows your brother’s name, and what your favorite color is. Even though he gets things wrong sometimes (like how many languages you speak and your first kiss), he got most things pretty okay.
He makes you feel loved.
So you kiss him in his living room, your hands curled into fists on his chest, and there’s a moment where he doesn’t react, so you push harder until he holds you like he never wants to let go. You never want him to let go.
You want him to hold you until it hurts.
You think there is an equation to this, some kind of formula that gives you the same result every time.
(loneliness)^2 + guilt + companionship = kissing the Other Spock, wanting him to love you the way you love the other him. Your him.
