For the first time in his life, Dabi can look around the room of the people who have the privilege of calling him by his name and say that he enjoys their company. He enjoys being able to give off heat for Spinner, enjoys letting Toga happily put silly pins in his hair, he enjoys making soba for his little brother that comes on the weekends. He enjoys looking to his lover, his Keigo, and seeing him giving in to all his bird instincts.
Dabi can admit, to himself at least, that he enjoys being fussed over by Kuroguri or Compress, enjoys snatching new games for Tenko, enjoys getting his hands on some money, and giving Keigo a blanket that is fluffy and warm.

“Your majesty.” The man in horrifically opulent robes bows low, the ridiculous sleeves pooling on the floor in a puddle of silk. “We have brought you a spoil of war, captured during the battle of Kamino, a rare and exotic creature for your household.” Touya sits up a little in interest, this was rather unusual as far as presents for his father went. The doors open with a heaving groan, and Touya leans forward in open interest. He was expecting a large cage to be wheeled in, containing some fantastical creature like a small wyvern or a kirin. Instead the servants yank on heavy chains, pulling in a young man with massive crimson wings.
“A harpy, your majesty, tamed and trained for battle by the enemy. He was captured in combat, and has spent the last six months undergoing training to become a suitable pet for the royal household. I give him to you, your majesty, to serve whichever role his highness pleases.”

The fire was the worst part.
It was an inversion of everything Hawks had ever strived for. It was wild, and untamed, and consumed like it was made to light the funeral pyre of a god. The same crazed blue was visible in Dabi’s eyes. Even in the shadow of a collapsing wall, reflecting the light of a cigarette. He drew in short, lazy puffs, like he was sipping a cheap beer.
“You must be Dabi.” Hawks felt himself smile.

Summary
Dabi is in the strange position of hiding from his past by being really, ridiculously obvious to everyone from his past on national TV. With the League bar a smoking ruin, he jumps straight from The Bachelorette into Bachelor In Paradise with the hope that the program’s “secret” location and army of bodyguards will keep him from being kidnapped a second time… or. Well. A third time, really. He just needs to play it cool, but that’s hard when Hawks has followed him to Paradise too, and Dabi can’t seem to concentrate on any of the other contestants.
Hawks is in the strange position of playing secret bodyguard for the man he’s fallen for, because the only other informants for the HPSC’s darkest secrets have either disappeared or been killed. This piles more angst on top of his already-confusing crush. Is he even allowed to have a crush? Emotions are hard. Hawks is suffering.
Meanwhile Natsuo is horrified but vindicated when he learns that the details of his brother’s death were forged; half of the U.A. staff is on the hunt for Oboro Shirakumo, who called into a radio show despite being dead for over ten years; and the League may not be villains, but they don’t take an insult laying down.

Wanderlust is a dizzying thing, it spins you around and throws you in all kinds of directions until the angry animal inside you is sated and decides to settle. Tubbo greets it as an old friend, takes it's hand, and lets it guide him across the continental United States. He's not running away, he just...Tubbo needed a change, okay? And maybe it comes in the freight trains he rides, or the old abandoned rail towns he combs through. Or maybe it's in a skunk-haired stranger, with a crusty patched jacket and eyes that tell a story their mouth never will.
