Bucky is getting some grub after a night of drinking when none other than the Avengers walk into the place.
With them the man responsible for every wet dream he had since 16.
He's not sure if it's insanity or the alcohol that makes him do it (probably a bit of both), but he scribbles down his number and walks over to him.___
“What just happened?” Tony asks, looking at Steve holding the piece of paper.
Steve shrugs, frowning as he unfolds it. “It’s a phone number” he says, “I don’t get it.”
“He made a move on you? That is brave!” Natasha grins, leaning backwards to try and read the note.

“So, what you going to do about that?” Bruce says, pointing at the note, “Going to let him down easy?”
“I don’t know” Steve grins, “He was kind of cute?”
Tony spits out his drink, staring at Steve – along with the rest of the table who has gone surprisingly quiet.

He looks at the letter again
“Give it a try, Stevie. You’ll like it there. I used to imagine us settling down there, after the war, running a little bed and breakfast together. I guess that wasn’t really in the cards for us, but maybe it still can be for you. A life of your own, away from the weight of the world that you feel on your shoulders. Find someone to love, and build a life there. Or at least, give it a go. One Christmas. My business partner will be there to welcome you and let you know how things work.

The last request of a dead woman, he couldn’t really refuse that one, could he?
The house looks… cozy.
There’s a light on inside, even though it’s already quite late. He’d sent an email to the business partner, J.B., so he’s guessing the guy is waiting up for him.
He sighs, hoisting his bag up his shoulder and makes his way towards the entrance.

Beck is out for revenge and it's Peter who takes the fall, as always. In the aftermath Peter seeks comfort from those around him and finds love and support in spades. Tony seems to be the only one unsure of how to proceed with Peter. It takes more than a few tries to get the genius back on track with his son.
Or; Peter gets hurt, Tony is clueless, and the rest of the Avengers men come to the rescue.

The thing about Bucky these days is that, while he might be a semi-mythical assassin, he's also vulnerable—the kind of vulnerable that makes total strangers want to drape a blanket over his shoulders and take him to safety. The problem is, of course, that Bucky is already safe.
The first time it happens, Bucky has no idea how to react. He and Steve are walking down the street, when a slight woman takes in Bucky’s terrified eyes, the dark circles so bad they almost look like bruises, and Steve’s protective hand resting on his lower back, guiding him down the busy sidewalk (but it must look possessive, to someone looking for a sign), and comes to the wrong conclusion.
