Just as he’s about to reply, however, Dick suddenly spots a shivering figure standing dangerously close to the ledge of a rooftop. Nightwing immediately shifts priorities.

Peter blearily opened his eyes before blinking a few times, slightly grimacing as his eyes adjusted to the lack of light. His back was currently in a lot of pain, and everything that led him to where he was currently, was nothing more than a blur. “Mr Stark?” he croaked, his voice rough. He swallowed, wincing as he felt as if he were swallowing glass shards. He pushed past it, trying to figure out what the hell happened. Surprisingly, the smell of burning is what caused everything to slam into him. Homecoming – Liz’s dad was the Vulture, and —
And he was currently trapped under a building.
More specifically, a warehouse.
Peter bit his lip, trying to ignore the burning in his eyes. “Fuck,” he groaned. He currently felt nauseous, and his spider-sense was going off like crazy, making it impossible to think clearly.

Bruce Wayne finds fourteen year old Peter Parker under the collapsed building where Jason Todd's body should be. This is five times Peter (tried) to find stability in Gotham, and the one time it didn't work out whatsoever.

He had thought his confusion then was bad, but Damian couldn’t even begin to explain his pure bewilderment upon waking up and seeing an entire tree in the house. Had his father brought it in? Why was it in the house? Were there still animals living in it, or had they been stripped of their homes?
It didn’t even look like the kind of trees they had surrounding the manor. Damian couldn’t imagine his father would have gone out miles upon miles just to decorate their interior with a pine tree.

“What is this?” Damian scrunched up his nose, looking at the small house. It had 24 mini doors, each one labeled 1-24. The house was decorated to resemble a gingerbread house. The craftsmanship looked cheap, and definitely not hand carved or handcrafted. It didn’t even feel like wood- it felt like flimsy cardboard. Damian could get a better quality model house at Walmart.
“An advent calendar.” Tim said, sipping his coffee. “Bruce gets them for us every year.”
Damian hummed. If father often got these “calendars” for his children every year, then Damian should expect one yearly from now on. Not much to look forward to. “How is this a calendar? It has no dates.”
OR: Damian learns what an advent calendar is, and he’s far more intrigued than he’d like to admit.
