Hikage gave him an incredulous look. “How-”“Hey Nana.” Yoichi said conversationally. “Do you happen to know if Eighth has a shellfish allergy?”

Quite frankly: No.
No to all of those.
Denki is smarter than anyone believes, more capable and competent than one may assume of him. He has known the pain and heartbreak of losing someone close to him and, well...
He is very ambitious, let's keep it at that for now. It's just that his ambitions aren't what others expect of him, and not for the reasons they expect either.

Summary
Midoriya died when he was 4 years old.
He went to bed as usual after being tucked in by his mother, and drifted off to sleep not long after. He then woke up as he was walking down a street, in a body that wasn’t his and seeing out of eyes that didn’t belong to him with no way of controlling his body. A villain stabbed him as he turned down an alley, quickly relieving him of anything valuable in his pockets and left him to bleed out.
Then it happened again the next night, a patient in a hospital coughing up their last breath as Midoriya was locked into their head, seeing what they saw, feeling their pain and hearing their thoughts.
It wasn’t long before the doctors figured out that the young boy’s quirk was to blame for the nightly deaths. It was named “optogram” after the old roman superstition, and Midoriya never got a restful night of sleep again.
And yet, despite the horrors that came with every night, Midoriya was determined to help as many people as he could and stepped forward to start the UA entrance exam.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya is unlucky, to say the least and life hasn't exactly been kind. Things weren't so bad in the beginning, but once he was diagnosed quirkless, well, it all went to shit. Everyone grew to hate him, even his best friend and own father.
Was it really that impossible to become a hero without a quirk? It doesn't really matter because to Izuku, the term hero is flexible. He'll be his own hero because he's learnt from his own experience, people are selfish and the only one he can rely on is himself.
Left alone to fend for himself in the world, Izuku goes out to change things on his own terms, despite his methods being slightly illegal. Keyword, slightly. It's only illegal if he gets caught, right?

Summary
There's a reason Shouta tries to hide his cat mutation. Multiple reasons, really, first and foremost being that he doesn’t want to lose the advantage his heightened senses give him, but also because… well. Catnip.
He's been exposed to catnip before, but it’s only once been the case that he’s been exposed to catnip by a villain. It was… not a good time. For anyone involved. Shouta’s just grateful that there were other heroes around to step in and keep him from actually committing murder.
Now, though… now, there’s nobody else who can step in. Now, there’s only him, and his hellions behind him, hurt and restrained and temporarily quirkless.
“Now, now, Eraserhead, you’re not going to refuse and let your students get hurt, are you~?”
And, of course, there’s the villain, cooing mockingly at him, holding out a little spray bottle of what’s apparently concentrated catnip. How they found out and why, he doesn’t know, and he has a grim suspicion that he won’t have a chance to ask later.
(There was never any chance he could refuse.)

“Breakfast is ready,” a deep voice — Aizawa-sensei’s familiar voice calls from another room. “Come eat.”
And… Izuku can’t remember the last time someone made breakfast for him. It must have been years. Probably before he taught himself to use the stove. Despite himself, he feels tears pricking his eyes.
Mic-sensei doesn’t comment on that, instead taking one of Izuku’s hands. “Come on, baby; let’s go eat before the food gets cold.”
Izuku should fight. This isn’t normal, or healthy. He’s been kidnapped, put in some weird twilight zone copy of his room and told he’s being forcefully adopted and he’s not allowed to return to his mother, but instead, instead he obediently follows his teacher to a table in the the kitchen, where a large serving of food is set out for him — unlike at his mother’s house, where he has to take small servings, this is in accordance with what is required because of his quirk; he needs massive amounts of calories compared to the average person ever since accepting One for All.
