Summary
Alicent knew what her father wanted, and knew what could happen if she went directly against his wishes. However, she could never betray her friend in such a way and continued to push the king and Rhaenyra to reconcile after the tragic death of Queen Aemma. Hermione wakes in a world she does not recognize. Strapped to a bed and hooked to machines that do little to aid the werewolf blood now pumping through her veins. She can smell and hear everything-the sound of nurses walking down hallways and pens clicking in hands. She can smell the bleach scrubbed on the floor and the leftover blood in her hair no one had scrubbed out.
But in the midst of all that, a lingering scent awaits.
