Summary
Maddie's visit had been unexpected, and not quite the Buckley he wanted to see, but she was right. If Eddie would actually talk to Buck about this rather than letting it fester between them, souring the best thing Eddie has ever known, then something would be resolved. Buck is good at organizing, scarily good at resolving problems when he really puts his mind to it, and would no doubt throw himself into figuring out how to repair the relationship between Eddie and Christopher. And yet, despite knowing this, Eddie refused to talk about it, which only led to Buck taking one too many steps back when all Eddie wanted was his best friend right by his side. They're meant to have each other's backs, but Eddie isn't letting Buck have his.
Or: Eddie doesn't want to move, Buck wants to be a dad, and Chris just wants to come home.

"How bad?" He asked after a few moments, voice hoarse and scratchy from the crying. Yet he refused to pull away from Buck, leaning heavier against him, soaking up his comfort even if he felt he didn't deserve it.
"He's angry. And confused." Buck started softly, brushing away the tears on Eddie's cheeks with the pad of his thumb. "I can't say I blame him... Chris told me he needs space-" The pained little whimper that escapes from the back of Eddie's throat cuts Buck off for a moment before he's leaning his forehead against Eddie's. "He needs space to process what happened. He's going to stay with me, okay? He'll be with me at the loft until you both can heal from this..."
Or: Buck doesn't let the little family he's built fracture apart, even if that means he has to take care of everything to make it right again.

He cut Buck off with a gentle touch, calloused fingers finding their place against his face, slowly stroking his thumb along Buck's jawline. "This is not about choosing you over my son, because you know I would never do that. This is about choosing me. Chris left to get some space, he'll come back... Chasing him to El Paso would ruin everything even more." How could he have ever thought any different? How could he have let things go this far? "Can I say it again, now?"
The soft glow in Buck's eyes was cautious yet finally content, a sheen of tears making them brighter. "Yeah... yes, you can say it again."
Eddie moved closer, their knees knocking together. "I'm so fucking in love with you..."
Or: Eddie realizes some things and decides moving wouldn't be a good idea for anyone.

Summary
If there is one thing Ayato knows without a doubt about Thoma, it would be that he cares so much. If he decides you are his friend, he will do anything to keep that person safe and healthy. Ayato has seen how Thoma reacts when he or Ayaka are injured, how he acts without using that beautiful mind of his. There's a very real possibility that Thoma is hurt and yet his well being will always come second to those he loves.
Or: Aether has to witness Ayato and Thoma being affectionate because he's bedridden.

Summary
The threat only weighed down the heavy atmosphere more. Dazai hasn't necessarily killed since he made that promise to Odasaku, but not killing was never a specific part of the promise to begin with. Out of every act of violence Odasaku would condone, protecting Atsushi wouldn't even need to be discussed.
Or: An unknown ability user is causing havoc within the Port Mafia, so they request the help of the ADA. Dazai and Atsushi go to investigate, but instead get caught up in the ability that’s taken out so many. Akutagawa and Chuuya are not amused.

Summary

It all starts, when Shouta Aizawa finds a young boy dying on the streets. As the police rush to find the boy's attacker, Shouta suddenly finds himself in a position to care for a child who is scared, traumatized and in desperate need of a parental figure. It’s only temporary he tells himself. At least, that’s the plan.
As each new turn in the investigation continues to add complication after complication, Shouta finds himself increasingly concerned for his young charge – and unwilling to give up a responsibility he wasn’t sure he wanted in the first place.

Shouta’s plan had been ill-defined and desperate from the start, but he figures the important shit boiled down to, “Change as little as possible, make sure Midoriya doesn’t get himself killed, and stock up on lychee jelly pouches because that flavor got discontinued three years from now.” Keeping it simple’s always better, and he’s normally good at improvising.
Somewhere along the way, he must’ve fucked up since now he has:
A quirkless problem child hanging off of his every word
His best friend going through a sexuality crisis thanks to said problem child’s mom
His other best friend clinging to him like a security blanket
Some two-bit mob boss threatening him with bouquets of daffodils
To wring the number one hero’s fucking neck for not telling him anything useful before sending him decades into the past
All he did was walk Izuku Midoriya home. It wasn’t meant to turn into whatever mess this is.
