Summary
Dale was well familiarized with the concept of “if you go looking for trouble, it finds you”, or as some would put it- FAFO. He believed it was hooey of course (which was part of the reason he was so familiar); trouble was everywhere, and those who go searching are the ones who get the jump on it. Someday he planned on using that quote in a backyard conversation, after a long swing of beer, and then take a long drag from his everlit cigarette. Tonight, however, Dale was not looking for trouble. He was looking for his hat, which had been blown miles away in the wind while he was driving home from work.

Summary
Vincent has just left for the day when he sees the man; he’s old, very old, and very finely dressed. He was wearing murky green slacks and a striped, well tailored vest; an old fashioned ensemble that whispered old money in a very alluring voice. There was an attractive quality about him, something that made Vincent’s eyes drift to him almost immediately and completely uncontrollably. It was like he was the only light in a dark room, and Vincent was a moth.
