This requires a bit of explanation and credit where credit is due; about two months ago, I ran across an absolutely brilliant animated BG3 short on YouTube. The concept and idea introduced in the first three segments are what inspired this entire thing - it was an amazing prompt, and I loved the idea of it.
The shorts are from the immensely talented RavenRose99 on YouTube. I finally contacted her, and she's seen this and given me her blessing to share it.
I hope all of you out there who happen across this love it as much as I do. Taliana is probably one of my favorite characters I've ever created, and her dynamic with Astarion is a lot of fun to watch develop.

I met his gaze, my heart hammering in my chest. His eyes—dark, stormy—held me captive, filled with an anger I couldn’t comprehend. Anger, and something else. Fear.
