Summary
The average human lifespan does not exceed a century. Within that time, one learns and experiences the emotions inherent to the species: living in society, having descendants, leaving behind a legacy—or simply fading away, unremembered. It is a matter of chance; not all are born under the same conditions, nor do they develop in the same way. All accumulate anecdotes; some are lost to memory, while others are carried until the end of their lives. Bonds are formed—some closer than others—and shared time and positive experiences deepen them.
Thus, it is no surprise that a dragon reborn in human skin would develop a bond with his Archon—with the woman alongside whom he ruled for four hundred years. Comical anecdotes, moments he would never admit left him vulnerable, confusion, misunderstandings, and that clearly drawn line between them—of course, a line that blurred under certain circumstances. All of it diligently recorded in multiple journals. With photographs, drawings, dates, and meticulous detail, as one would expect from someone as orderly as he is. A window into the thoughts of the Chief Justice, which he guarded so jealously, unable to express them otherwise.

Summary
After the flood retreated and her people averted their crisis, Furina fled to the refuge of a remote village to hide from the spotlights of the city and the reminders of her pain. She told no one of it, not even Neuvillette. It was also on that day that the rains in Fontaine began and never ceased.
Eventually, a fateful encounter with Lumine ended up leading Furina back to the opera house and back to its Chief Justice, who was keen to not lose her a second time.
