“I’m–I’m sorry.” George mumbles an apology. “I didn’t know you were coming here, idiot. I–I–”
“So–so you told them we’re together?” Dream asks with a no bullshit tone. George’s eyes leave Dream’s, flitting to the pink elephant on his end table. “Why?”
“They–they were nagging me, Dream, and–and when I said I was dating someone and my mum assumed it was you…” George trails off with a shrug, scrunching his face at his own words. “I don’t know, Dream."
“But George,” Dream says his name with stress. “Now they think we’re together and we have to tell them the truth.”

Well if there was ever any doubt the Witchfinder was a fraud, here it is. Why on earth would a sorcerer conjure toads out of his mouth? A goblin would just burn in fire and bodies in the water would make it undrinkable. On top of that, only three women saw it. While there are always plenty of people at the well or in the square. You would think these women had eaten bad mushrooms.
