Summary
Eddie stops at the door, wants to see at least one firework go off tonight. It is New Years, after all. He turns around at the right time, sees one of the fuses burn out and send the little rocket off toward the stars. It bursts and makes a kaleidoscope of the night sky, and when Eddie turns to Steve, it’s made a kaleidoscope of his eyes too, the colors reflecting in them like glitter, or maybe like confetti at a concert. It makes Steve look almost magical, on top of ethereal. Lots of pretty adjectives. Eddie will have to write a list of words that fit him.
In which Steve wants a New Year´s kiss (he gets one).

Summary
Eddie is fully aware of what he’s been doing all day, annoying the shit out of Steve, stealing his food, standing on the broom and mop as he tries to clean, ignoring him when he actually needs something, and most importantly repeatedly starting petty little arguments, just generally being irritating like a cat who wants attention. He’s kind of proud of it because at this point Steve looks legitimately pissed off. Eddie wants him that way, wants him to snap and put him in his place, wants him to forget to be gentle when he does it, wants Steve to make him overwhelmed with sensation until he’s crying hard enough to choke.
OR
Eddie wants it to hurt. A lot. But first he has to get on his knees and...clean the floors?
