Summary
When you hear about death, there are very few emotions you can tie to the word. Mickey tries not to think about death. It's not because he is afraid of death, actually it's the opposite, since he arrived in Los Santos he resigned himself to the fact his life wouldn't be very long. What does scare Mickey is a life unfulfilled. Having people he was close to but never close enough to really be considered family.
He has friends, best friends even, he has some he considers brothers, but there was this empty hole that felt like it was carving away at him. He thought he would live and die with it.
Something did change though, and it can be put into one name. Leonardo Slacks. Now that was someone he didn't see coming.
OR
Mickey has family, sure, but having someone who loves him as easy as breathing was impossible. Leo Slacks is here to change that and try hunting down a serial killer with him in the process. Sadly, life is never easy and Los Santos has secrets much worse hiding beneath the surface.
