It’s a decorous distance, objectively, but it’s still so close: close enough that Lan Zhan’s skirt brushes gently against Wei Ying’s ankles, close enough to steal the breath from Wei Ying’s lungs and the words from her mouth.
“You conducted beautifully tonight,” Lan Zhan says, continuing her assault on Wei Ying’s higher cognitive functions. “It was a pleasure to play under your direction.”
Alternately: Wei Ying and Lan Zhan are lesbians, roommates, and idiots—not necessarily in that order.

The Zhou Zishu of ten minutes ago, who first agreed to the whole thing — the evening’s conversation and general bickering over drinks taking an unexpectedly filthy turn — had been thinking only about the imminent pounding on offer and not, well, everything else that might come with it. He had thought, naively, that it might finally shut both Wen Kexing and Ye Baiyi up and give them something to do other than fight back and forth. Had assumed that if they wanted to channel their competitive streaks into showing off to each other as to who can fuck him better, it could surely only end in a good time. He might as well take advantage of being the centre of attention and get an orgasm out of it.
The Zhou Zishu of the present — older now, and far wiser than his past counterpart — is already paying the price for his mistake, and he hasn’t even been fucked yet. He’d said yes, and no one has shut the fuck up about it since.
