Summary
Xehanort is famed for his intricate gambits and chesslike control of events and others. Mozenrath is not, but that's who he's up against, so he and his friends are going to attempt to come up with some gambits of their own. After all, at the WHAM ARMY, the scheming never stops.
Today's idea: what if we sent one of our own - the one who can most easily play innocent - to pretend to defect to the hero side? Will the Cinnamons buy it? Will this plan actually yield literally anything useful? Was Deymos, of all people, really the one we should've sent in for this project?
We dunno. The WHAM ARMY doesn't really know either.***

PLEASE NOTE - I don't think anyone's written for the "Higher" MV before, so I wasn't sure how to tag it. It's not literally the MSA canon, nor is it actual canon Rhythm Heaven, but those are the closest two things I can think of for tagging among the pre-existing tags, so if anybody wants to jump in and give suggestions for how to tag this, I am definitely open to them!
Maybe this was too small-time of a thing to write about but it wouldn't leave my head, and Ben literally put character names in the video desc that were never used in the video itself sooooooo -

I went on a bit of a journey watching playthroughs of classic edutainment games a while back, just for fun, and I had a lot of thoughts about the worldbuilding and characters on this one.
This was actually mostly written half a year ago and only just polished now.
No, I am nowhere near young enough to be the target audience for this game. No, most of what I write on the rest of my profile is NOT this innocent or family-friendly, so take a screencap of this one for posterity.

He didn't expect the first target he came across to be Blitzwing. Nor did he expect their reunion to play out exactly the way it did.

When Twilight and Bulblins fell on Kakariko village, most didn't survive. Renado and Barnes had each other to lean on, and it was only inevitable that they grow closer. This causes Renado to rethink a lot of the troubled relationships in his life and how he can work to make them better.

After Rex Salazar purged the world of nanites and ended the epidemic, Van Kleiss was left with nothing but Abysus, Skalamander, Biowulf, and Breach. Until Biowulf and Breach decided that enough abuse was enough and walked out. Van Kleiss found himself with only one loyalist, a mild case of mental illness, and no idea what goal to work toward next.
Then Gatlocke showed up and everything went to heck.

Postcanon. VK, Gatlocke, Quarry, Skalamander, and John were my five ultrafaves in the show and I love them so much. And honestly this is eventually meant to flow into the TBTCverse, but I wanted a separate prequel to establish them as a squad instead of taking too much time out of the crossover to do that.
Features retcons and ridiculous plot twists because I got way into this show and maybe had a little TOO much fun. Also, Van Kleiss and Quarry actually putting up with each other. Also also, Quarrylocke, which I am trying to make into a thing even if it's just my thing.
