    A fun Aurore/Mireille (endgame) work that makes full use of meteorological metaphors and puns between them. Though the premise sounds messy, there's a decent amount of communication between the two gals, though also some subtle unstated pining on Mireille's end. Chloé's definitely a villain by the end, but I found her entitlement and tantrums funny to read. This is an efficient work that covers a decently large time span in just 11k words, so a nice way to get into a little more Aurore/Mireille meat without having to invest too much.

    Unfortunately, he doesn't have much of a say in the matter. The longer he stays and watches the plot of PIDW progress, the more he starts to realize that something is wrong with Luo Binghe. If there's one thing that Shen Yuan is determined to do, it's to make sure that the protagonist gets the happy ending he is due. But first he’ll have to figure out why Luo Binghe seems to hate one of his most popular wives, and just what happened to the original Little Palace Mistress.

    Very fun concept where Shen Yuan ends up in the body of a woman getting married to Luo Binghe. It's alternate universe in several ways (including Luo Binghe being raised by his birth parents for at least a little while) and opens up some interesting new paths and relationships for characters. A great fit for people interested in a new angle for SVSSS that does some worldbuilding, and of course those who love dense protagonists who cannot fathom that their literal husband might be interested in them.

    Being Fit

    An absolute GEM holy shit how do I even describe this?? Firstly let's start with Wii Fit Trainer: The starting chapters that follow her POV are so fun to read, taking a blank-slate protagonist and making a story about discovering oneself when one struggles to even HAVE a self. This all gets set into the rich, varied context of the Super Smash Bros world, where all these video game properties are somehow in the same universe and interacting. Though the bombastic style and personalities of the games are all maintained, at the same time there's consideration given to every character, imbuing even the most sidenote characters with depth and nuance, and the connections between worlds (politics, economics, warfare) are also written with such loving detail and creativity that makes every chapter and every scene feel like a spotlight. I'll especially note there's some extremely juicy Legend of Zelda lore development where Zelda plays a FASCINATING somewhat antagonistic role while Ganon is going through a slow-burn redemption arc (facilitated by none other than Isabelle from Animal Crossing), and there's some great political/cultural worldbuilding in regards to the Gerudo and Ganon's motivations.

    I binged this with enthusiasm and a thrill for the weaving of all sorts of characters. It sometimes gets to be a lot to keep track of, but as someone who is familiar with Nintendo but not a heavy/obscure lore expert, I still felt capable of keeping up with most of it, as most characters get at least a little introduction to help orient you as to their personality, their role in their canon world, and how that's being applied to this mixed-canon Super Smash Bros world.
