Summary
A simple choice leads Eddard Stark to tell Jon the truth of who parentage and heritage before Jon leaves for the wall. He tells him that Lyanna named him as a Targaryen, insinuating that Jon's parents had married and when he searched the tower they had discovered a marriage announcement from a septon for Rhaegar, Elia, and Lyanna. Jon chooses not to swear his life away and instead goes to Oldetown to seek out information on who could have married his parents, thinking there could be record of the septon that had performed the ceremony. There he finds more than he could every bargain for and the game began.

The Gods of Old should have known better than to let that foreign God R’hllor try and save the world with his prophecies. The table ran to slow and their joint champion did not come into his own fast enough. Still, R’hllor did like a burning world and if that’s what it took to reset the clock and destroy the Night King then that’s what they would do. They would burn away the prophecy of the Azor Ahai and fire and ice and bring about the Prophecy of the Second Summer and the Eternal Night.

Summary
So this is a completely different AU, short thing something.
Honks story.
Lily and James flee to America, while Lily is pregnant with Harry, who then grows up in the States. Ilvermorny and becomes an Auror.
He keeps feeling outside of the norm because he has copied his parents accent getting called the British kid.
He ends up too good at being an Auror, because James and Lily are training Harry in case Voldemort comes after them. He doesn't and dies without the Potters.
Harry has a confrontation with his boss which gets him fired, so he decides to go to Britain instead to help rebuilt a war-torn country.
Sirius is still alive in this timeline. Let's go!
