The "Kimi no Nawa" Phenomenon better known as the soul swap phenomenon named after the anime movie "Kimi no Nawa" is a phenomenon where two people "swap souls" or "consciousness" It is a very rare phenomenon and occurs among very rare individuals.
The number of people who have actually experienced the phenomenon is very rare. Even more than that the reported number of cases is very rare and it is believed many who actually go through it don't officially report it. The reason why it happens is unknown and specialists are still researching it.
However, those who have gone through it say that the phenomenon seems to stop when the two people actually start to feel an attachment toward each other. Just like it starts suddenly, it also stops suddenly. The experienced people say that the phenomenon seems to somehow connect you to someone who was a "missing piece" in your life.
