Summary
When Ben Parker dies, May Parker dies with him. It's a double homicide, and Peter is sent into the foster care system before being placed into the home of a first time foster parent. Peter tries hard to make his new foster mom's life as easy as possible, thankful she's supportive of him after finding out he's running around the streets of New York City as a masked vigilante, but all it takes is one mistake for Peter's carefully constructed new life to come crumbling down thanks to the arrival of his long time hero, Tony Stark.
Tony Stark just wanted to figure out who the masked superhero going viral online was, and maybe recruit them if they turned out to be a good guy. So when JARVIS alerts Tony that the police have custody of a knife with Spider-Man's DNA, Tony decides it's the perfect opportunity to go looking for the masked hero. He never expected to find out that the vigilante swinging from webs across Queens was a 14 year old kid, much less his biological son he never even knew existed. Finding out the kid is in foster care is the thing that convinces Tony that he has to act.

Some people just have a hard time seeing the good in things. Some people have others to keep them afloat, to help them see the brighter side of things. But some don't. Some wallow in the dark for far too long, and no one seems to notice until it's almost too late; or in some cases, it is too late.
Creek never had any true negative feelings towards the village's grey troll. He knows Branch is a good soul with a good heart. He's seen Branch interact with a few select Trolls (Ablaze, Hype, Boom, Trickee) and actually smile, actually laugh, and actually seemed more relaxed. That's all he wants, to see Branch be more positive. But whenever he tries, Branch always seems to be more tense. Why does he seem more happy with certain people, yet Creek basically gets the cold shoulder? Maybe a trip to the Neverglades can bring some secrets to light? Maybe a near death experience can bring the two closer?

John Dory learned a lot of things on the Neverglade trail. He learned that there was so much more to the world than a cage, he learned to rely on other people and somewhere along the way despite everything he found himself. 10 years after leaving the only home he’d ever known he’s on the trail again and finds someone else. Unlikely friendships are made, and he finds himself starting to feel like an older brother again. Through it all he struggles with deciding if he should try and reenter his younger brother’s lives again.
Aka: I think that John Dory should be allowed to be the grumpy older man who takes in a teen girl and becomes her brother figure while learning to be a better person along the way.
